Of all Yllana's productions, 666 is the most irreverent and macabre. 666, the number of the beast serves as inspiration for this play as performed by the members of Yllana: With Death Row as the fateful setting, 4 inmates await their final hour which they will face on the gallows, the electric chair, the guillotine..... to kill us with laughter. From the darkest side of humour, Yllana yakes an ironic look at violence and death as our inmates dodge their executions which culminates in a wild stiptease. After it's premier at Mimo de Sueca International Festival in Valencia, 1998, 666's blackest humor has taken its success to Edinburgh's Fringe Festival, The Riverside Studios Theatre in London and to off-Broadway in N.Y.
